Trigger Settings#
Scan Mode#
Users can set the reading mode of the Scan Engine according to their needs. The default state is the button trigger mode. In this mode, the Scan Engine starts reading after pressing the Trigger Button, and stops reading after successful reading or releasing the Trigger Button.
* Key Trigger#
Users can also set the Scan Engine to automatic continuous reading mode. After the setting is successful, the red light of the Scan Engine is always on. When a barcode passes by, the Scan Engine automatically reads the barcode. The same barcode will not be read again unless it is removed and read again.
Automatic Continuous Reading#
Discontinuous Reading#
You can also set the Scan Engine to Button Delay Mode. In this mode, the red illumination remains on for 3 seconds and turns off when the timeout expires without a successful read or when a barcode is read successfully.

When the user uses the key delay mode, the user can set the decoding timeout according to the needs. The default is 3 s and the time range is 1-9.9 s.
